Joan-Alice
received her B.S. and Certificate in Physical Therapy from Boston
University's Sargent College of Allied Health Professions in 1969,
her M.S. on Counseling from the University of Hartford in 1978 and
her Psy. D. from Antioch New England Graduate School in 2002. The
title of her dissertation was Physical Touch: Psychologists' Decision
Dilemma.
Dr. Taylor is a fellow in the American Board of Disability Analysts. She is a Licensed Professional
Counselor in Connecticut in addition to her License on Physical Therapy. She is a Certified Bioenergetic
Therapist and has graduated from the Hartford Family Institute Body-Oriented Gestalt Therapy Training program.
Dr. Taylor started her private practice in 1983 after extensive experience in hospitals and rehabilitation settings.
Because of her particular interest on the body-mind connection, she believed that private practice was the way to
truly helping the "whole person" who came for treatment. The blending of physical therapy, psychotherapy, and
therapeutic massage make the practice unique, broad based, and diverse. |

Deborah Peruta, P.T.

Deborah Peruta graduated from the University of Connecticut in 1993 with a bachelor's degree in physical therapy. She is licensed in the state of Connecticut, and along with her formal education, has completed many continuing education courses in the field of physical therapy. Deborah joined the staff of Taylor Therapy Center, P. C. in May 2009. |

Lucy C.
Marchigiano, is a graduate of Housatonic Community College in Bridgeport,
Connecticut with an Associate Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant
in 1999. She also received her Bachelor of Science degree in liberal
studies with concentrations in Athletic Training, Health and Human
performance from Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven,
Connecticut in 1990. Along with the education, Lucy has completed
continuing education courses in the field of physical therapy. She
has been at Taylor Therapy Center, P.C. since 1990. |

Suzanne M. Goda, P.T.A.

Suzanne M. Goda graduated as a member of the Alpha Nu Omega Honor Society, Alpha Chapter, from Springfield Technical Community College
in Springfield Massachusetts in 1971. She has an Associate of Science Degree in Allied Health Physical Therapist Assistant.
She is licensed in Massachusetts and Certified in Connecticut.
Beside her formal education she has completed many continuing education courses in the field of Physical Therapy. |

Erin Gever-Cummings, L.M.T.

Erin graduated as a member of Phi Theta Cappa from the State University of New York at Morrisville in 2000
with an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts/Social Sciences. Desiring to enter a health and wellness related field,
Erin enrolled at the Richmond Academy of Massage where she excelled in her studies of therapeutic massage,
integrating a variety of techniques including shiatsu, trigger point therapy, deep tissue, and reflexology.
After graduating from the Richmond Academy of Massage in early 2002 she successfully passed the National
Certification Exam for Massage and Bodywork and has recently joined the growing staff of Taylor Therapy Center. |

Lorin Jancie Acosta, L.M.T.

Lorin graduated from a full time massage therapy program in 2007. She attended the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy in Newington CT. She is skilled in a variety of techniques including Swedish Massage techniques, deep tissue massage, myofascial release and trigger point therapy. She is nationally certified, and licensed in the state of Connecticut

Randy Miles Psy.D., L.P.C. graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.S.
In 1970. He received a M.S. in Guidance and Psychological Services from Springfield College in 1980,
and a Psy.D. (doctorate in Clinical Psychology) from Antioch New England Graduate School in Keene NH in November of
2000. Along the way he completed the Gestalt Training Program from Hartford Family Institute in 1990.
Dr. Miles is a licensed professional counselor in Connecticut. He has been with Taylor Therapy Center since 1986. |
